Cellular Voice Encryption

Cellular voice encryption refers to secure voice or speech conducted specifically over a mobile phone. In cryptography, any device which provides voice encryption over a range of communication options like radio, phone or even the Internet, is termed as secure voice or ciphony.

Cellular voice encryption usually follows the digital route rather than the analog one. Digital secure voice is the most commonly technology today. The digital method has two components which includes the digitizer which breaks down the voice into a digital signal. This signal is then encrypted before it is transferred to the receiver. At the receiver’s end, the device will decrypt the signal and then reconvert the signal into data.
